Beautification

Friends of Putnam is dedicated to restoring our neighborhood to a place where children can play outside safely and visitors can enjoy walking between the various businesses and historic sites scattered throughout Putnam. In addition to regular community cleanup days, members of the Friends of Putnam are working on plans to introduce better lighting and litter prevention resources to the area.

Safety

In an effort to create a stronger presence in the community of neighbors who care for one another’s safety, volunteers for the community watch routinely patrol Putnam to prevent suspicious activity.

Members of the housing solutions committee meet to discuss housing needs in the area and find solutions that work in the best interest of the community.
